Q: I cannot log in. What am I doing wrong?

A: Are you sure you have registered? You can only log in once you have registered. Here is how:

• If you are not a member of an ALTER-Net partner organisation you can register (join) by clicking on the Join link in the main menu.
• If you work for an ALTER-Net partner, register (join) by clicking on the Join link in the main menu. This will give you basic access rights. The site administrators will then check with the main contact for your organisation, to confirm that you can have full access rights.

If you are registered but cannot login make sure you are entering the username (your email address) and password correctly.

Q: I cannot remember my password: Can I be sent it?

A: Yes. Click on the 'Request password reminder' tab on the login page. Your password will be emailed to the address you have registered with. If it does not reach you, you can contact admin@alter-net.info.

Q: Can I change my password?

A: Yes. Once you log in, click on 'Manage my account'. You can change your password here.
