Results of the EcoChange project help to address current pressures on biodiversity management to find conservation strategies, which both preserve the functioning of current ecosystems and take projected future changes into account.
Join the conference to learn about the key findings of EcoChange research activities and to engage in discussions of different aspects of biodiversity research together with scientists from the EcoChange project, other scientific experts, stakeholders and policy makers.
Conference sessions cover a wide spectrum of biodiversity research and management, including Plant Migration under Global Change, Community Assembly and Functional Ecology; Global Change, Biomes and Ecosystems; Reducing uncertainty in biodiversity model projections and Ecosystem Services in a changing world.
Additionally, a science-policy dialogue on socio-economic aspects of land-use modelling will further contribute to bridge the gap between research outcomes and their practical implementation.
