Description:  Organised by the Centre for Conservation Biology at the Norwegian University for Science and Technology (NTNU) and part of the 250th Anniversary of the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters.

Aims:

  • To present the scientific basis for a sustainable conservation of natural resources

  • Focus on the process of extinction and management actions that can increase the lifetime of populations at the local and regional level

  • Identify common principles for a sustainable management that also can ensure conservation
