Activity areas
The following are ALTER-Net's main activity areas:
- Problem-orientated dynamic research
- Infrastructure
- Communication and outreach
- Policy interface
- Training & Summer School
These activity areas were agreed in March 2011. They are being coordinated by ALTER-Net Management Board members. Within these areas, ALTER-Net is running a range of projects (see below).
There are two supporting activity areas: Fundraising and Coordination & strategic planning.
Mobility Scheme
ALTER-Net also runs a mobility scheme for its members, to enable short-term visits and collaboration between partners.
