BIT Congress is proud to launch the 1st Annual World Congress of Biodiversity-2012 (BioD-2012) which will be held during April 25-28, 2012, Xi’an, China.

Biodiversity as the measure or degree of ecosystems determines species on earth. Therefore, the effective conservation of biodiversity is essential for human survival and the maintenance of ecosystem processes. BioD-2012 is expected to be a dedicated event for sustainable biological diversity and eco-economy by bringing together scientists, industrial leaders and decision makers from all over the world in a great range of subjects under several technical sessions, expositions, excellent lectures, tech tours and training programs. The congress will also expected to provide opportunity for scientists to exchange their latest findings and developments in a wide range of multi‐disciplinary topics that are related to natural resources management, sustainable development, and biodiversity conservation issues. Meanwhile it is also hoped to explore and contribute idea and innovations to research and identify future environmental issues.

- Saving the World While Having Fun

Symposium 6: Biologically Invasions and Biodiversity Management
-Protecting Native Species from Bio-Alien Invasion

Symposium 7: Ecosystem Management and International Biodiversity Business
-Seeking Wealth without Scarifying Mankind’s Nature Properties

Xi'an enjoys the title of "A Natural Museum of History", it has been the most popular tourist city in China and the World owing to its brilliant historical and cultural relics, and spring is the most pleasant season for a visit. There would also be an opportunity to travel to other Chinese cities and present lectures. You are welcomed to submit papers and abstracts. Beside that, you are also encouraged to organize new session if your current research interests beyond our topics.
