This Summer School offers 20 courses in the field of science and information technology with special emphasis on computational methods and theories for advanced Master's students, PhD students, and post-docs.
One of the courses on offer is BIO1: Data Documentation in Biological Research, which takes place from 20-24 August. The teachers for this course will be Nicolas Bertrand (from ALTER-Net partner CEH) and Pirjo Kuitunen from Lake Päijänne LTER. The course is especially for researchers producing the data and will teach good practices for data documentation,as well as introducing some suitable software tools.
