What's new at ALTER-Net:
EKLIPSE: Open Call for Requests
In June of 2019, ALTER-Net agreed to manage the EKLIPSE mechanism. While official management will commence in August 2020, ALTER-Net is excited to promote the latest EKLIPSE project call for requests.
- Policy and other societal actors are invited to identify topics or evidence needs relating to biodiversity and ecosystem services and of EU policy relevance, requiring in-depth analysis and a consolidated view from science and other knowledge holders.

Registration for the 2020 ALTER-Net Summer School is now open.
The 2020 ALTER-Net Summer School will take place in Peyresq, Alpes de Haute-Provence, France. This summer school will focus on the challenge of biodiversity conservation, taking a systemic perspective.
Open to graduate and post-graduate scientists (as well as professionals in related fields), the ALTER-Net Summer School provides an innovative atmosphere for considering and resolving the sustainability challenges that society is currently facing. For further information on eligibility, see link.

The 2020 AHIA Call for Proposals is OPEN
ALTER-Net is committed to supporting the work of researchers who are addressing the most pressing issues facing science and society. This year, we will be accepting proposals on the following subjects:
- Sustainable futures for European landscapes
- The dependence of human society on biodiversity and ecosystem services
- Climate mitigation in European urban areas: the role of ecosystem services
Proposals on other excellent topics relevant to biodiversity and ecosystems will also be considered.
Opening of call: 12 December 2019
