Online Earth Debates, #2: Beyond GDP – how do we measure progress? (22 Feb)

Announcement of the second webcast Earth Debate on 22 February

The second of four webcast Earth Debates (www.nhm.ac.uk/nature-online/biodiversity/earth-debates//) in advance of Rio+20 will be webcast live at 19.00 GMT on Wednesday 22 February. 'Beyond GDP – how do we measure progress?' will be chaired by BBC environment correspondent Richard Black. The theme has a particular link to biodiversity loss and ecosystem services as GDP takes no account of the depreciation of natural capital. What questions would you like the experts to answer? Tweet your views using hash tag #earthdebates and join the debate online.
