Management Board kicks off work for 3rd phase of ALTER-Net
Brussels, 6 May 2014
The third phase of ALTER-Net has started and it is going to be a busy year. Plans for this jubilee year, celebrating ALTER-Net’s 10th birthday, include a meeting of networks of knowledge, promotion of trans-disciplinary activities, preparations for a conference on nature-based solutions, joint project development and of course networking.
The activities were planned by the ALTER-Net Management Board in its new composition, with Allan Watt from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology as the new chair. The meeting was held at the Flemish Institute for Nature and Forest Research in Brussels, hosted by the new Council chair Maurice Hoffmann.
